Single-prompt tracking compared with a ThreadSingle-prompt tracking records one answer: named or not. Single-prompt tracking sees one answer. A Thread sees the whole conversation, so it shows where a brand drops out and who takes its place.
Example data
The Thread diagnosis for a Demo Cycles prompt: the brand survives Discovery, Shortlist and Objection and is dropped at Trust; a bar per stage shows where the 5 conversations ended, 3 of them at Trust; the killer question is stage 4, Trust, “Is their after-sales service reliable?”; Rival Bikes was named instead and rivalbikes.example was the source cited; the recommendation is to publish service centre locations and warranty terms on one page.
The diagnosis: the killer question, who replaced the brand, the sources the assistant cited and what to publish next. Example data from the built-in demo brand Demo Cycles, not a real customer.

What Scrunch does well

Scrunch covers monitoring and action in one place. Its site describes performance tracking for prompts, topics and entities, prompt analytics with trends, citations, competitors and rankings, and benchmarking by competitor, persona, topic and region. It adds an AI bot crawl feed with error detection for failed crawls and a Data API on Enterprise, and its home page says it combines alerts and scheduled reports on changes in rank, citations and bot behaviour. Its Agent Experience Platform (AXP) serves a lightweight version of your site for AI agents. If you want to watch AI crawlers and act on what you find in the same product, Scrunch is built for that.

Where Vouch is different

Scrunch looks at how you rank across prompts and personas. Vouch looks at what happens as one buyer keeps asking. A Thread asks an assistant six questions in order: Discovery, Shortlist, Objection, Trust, Value and Decision. Vouch records the stage where your brand stops being named, the question that did it, and which brands were named instead. The Vouch Rate turns a week of those conversations into one score. Our methodology explains how each assistant is asked, and what happens after the first answer shows why later questions change the outcome.

Vouch's Starter plan is $39 a month for one project, 15 tracked prompts, two Thread slots, one country and one seat.

Choose Scrunch if

  • You want persona-level benchmarking and AI crawler data.
  • You want a version of your site served to AI agents.
  • You need a Data API for internal dashboards.

Choose Vouch if

  • You want to see the follow-up question where assistants stop recommending you, and who replaces you.
  • You want one weekly score for how often you survive to the recommendation.
  • You want a lower monthly price to start.

Vouch is invite-only for now. To see how Vouch asks each assistant and scores a conversation, read the methodology.

Common questions

Is Vouch cheaper than Scrunch?

At entry level, yes. Vouch's Starter plan is $39 a month. Scrunch's pricing page lists Starter at $300 a month month-to-month or $250 a month billed annually, and Growth at $500 or $417. The plans include different things, so compare limits as well as price.

Does Scrunch have alerts?

Scrunch's home page says it combines alerts and scheduled reports on changes in rank, citations and bot behaviour. We did not find alerts on its pricing or monitoring pages. Vouch has no alerts today.

Does Scrunch track multi-turn buyer conversations?

We did not find multi-turn or follow-up conversation tracking described on Scrunch's pricing, home or monitoring pages when we checked. Scrunch lets you filter by topic, persona, model and region. Vouch's Threads ask six questions in a row and record where your brand is dropped.

What is the Scrunch Agent Experience Platform?

Scrunch describes its Agent Experience Platform (AXP) as a parallel, lightweight version of your site translated for AI agents. Vouch has nothing like it; Vouch measures conversations and does not change your site.
